Scholarships
Scholarship Criteria
Eligible candidates for the Wellspring Credit Union or Kevin Hanks Memorial Scholarship at Lamar State College Orange must:
Must be attending or planning to attend Lamar State College Orange.
Must be enrolled for at least six (6) credit hours during the semester.
Must have a demonstrated record of academic success in high school or prior college work.
Must maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Must submit the following:
a completed application
a type 250-word essay based on the question found on the scholarship application
list of school and/or community activities
